About Us

Richard Navarra has been providing insurance services since 1977, offering both property/casualty group and life insurance coverage. He approaches customer needs holistically to avoid leaving any exposures uncovered. In 1990, Richard established Navarra Insurance Associates, Inc. in order to provide customized services without any outside influence.

In 2008, he opened Alternative Financial Strategies to focus on providing customers with education and guidance on protecting their assets for retirement with a balanced return and minimal risk. After the 2008 market crash, Richard recognized the importance of financial education for customers and has since focused on helping them understand and manage their financial risks. He has also transferred the property/casualty agency to long-standing employees.

Richard Navarra is a member of the board of the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. He also participates in the advisory council for Money Trax, which is regarded as a top educational resource for financial professionals.
